The Christmas drawer…
A secret spot for hidden goodies.
It brings calm knowing I have already bought some things for Christmas.
No matter how small, they are hidden away.
Waiting to be brought out and wrapped up tightly in tissue paper, wrapping paper, ribbons and bows.
Only to be seen again on Christmas morning.
Brought out and read until Hogmany.
Then put on the shelf.
Security in a box!
